Corsair introduces real Business Class

Corsair International dress: The Tui subsidiary is expanding all of their planes to Business Class.

So far, the passengers of the Corsair can choose International between the two classes: Economy and Grand Large. "According to the Business Class Grand Large offers you the maximum comfort," says the Tui-the daughter of the current offer. However, it is rather a kind of Premium Economy because a proper business class of travel. Now Corsair will change that.

Two of the three Boeing 747-400 aircraft of the French airline, will be starting at the 3. September Seats, with 12 Business-Class and 18 Grand-Large seats in the upper deck, as well as 491 Economy Class on the main deck stand out. The conversion of the third Jumbo-Jets will follow soon after.

Bed and Tablet

The two Airbus A330-300 of Corsair will receive the new configuration from the 9. December, and then offer 12 seats in Business Class, 12 in the Grand Large and 328 in Economy Class. The two Airbus A330-200 to be finally from 14. December will start with 12 seats in Business Class, 12 in the Grand Large and 278 in Economy Class.

To offer in the new class of Tablets, and headphones, the noise suppress. The seats convert to beds, however, are not perfectly flat in a 180 degree angle, but only to 160 degrees. In the Boeing 747-400 the seats are installed in a 2-2 arrangement in the machine of Airbus in 2-2-2.

Tui wanted to sell

Corsair International has its base at Paris-Orly airport and a number of French overseas flying areas. The destinations of the Airline are Guadeloupe, Martinique, Sainte Lucie, Saint Martin, RĂ©union, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte, Canada, Cuba, Senegal and the ivory coast. Since 2000, Corsair is part of Tui. In 2015, the German tourism group wanted to sell the airline, but the plans failed.
