Unused A380 is now at the foot of the Pyrenees

The first Airbus A380 of Singapore Airlines has completed its last flight. He arrived at the aircraft Parking in the South of France.

It was probably the saddest flight of this proud aircraft. Ten years after he was delivered the first A380 to an airline, joined the Airbus flight SQ8898 on Monday (13. November) his last trip. The pilots of Singapore Airlines operated the Jet of Singapore via the Bay of Bengal, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, the Kakasus, Northern Turkey, the Balkans and Italy to France.

15:55 of the A380 with the registration 9V-SKA land at 13:09 hours of flight at the Aéroport de Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées. At the airport, at the foot of the Pyrenees in the South of France Tarmac operates Aerosave a huge airplane Parking lot. Also, the A380 of Singapore Airlines is now there.

Now all in White

The A380 has a neutral white finish. Singapore Airlines had not renewed the lease contract for the super Jumbo. Owner, Dr. Peters must now find a new operator. Failing that, is disassembled the plane.
