These German Airlines no longer exist
Air Berlin threatens to disappear after a Takeover. So you would be the latest member in the Club of the disappeared German airlines.
The brand Air Berlin will hardly survive – not just anyone, but Air-Berlin-Chef Thomas Winkelmann. He is currently in the process to seek potential buyers for the insolvent airline. Air Berlin should disappear so really, would they join in the list of the no longer existent German airlines.
If so, Air Berlin, for example, in addition to the düsseldorf-based holiday airline LTU, 2007 itself, had taken over. But also German Wings (not to be confused with the Lufthansa low-cost subsidiary) and Other airlines exist only in the memory. You can see in the gallery above is a selection.
