The new cabin of Alaska Airlines looks

The American airline presents its new interior. First, the Airbus will be converted to Alaska Airlines Jets, the former Virgin America.

With the purchase of Virgin America, the loyal Boeing customer, Alaska Airlines also took over the Airbus fleet, the Ex-competitor. Exactly, these are now the first to be equipped with a new cabin. While the A320 and A321 currently have eight seats in Business Class and 18 in Premium Economy, are, will, 12, and 24.

The atmospheric light is no longer pink as in the case of Virgin America, but blue. Where previously the screens in the Seats were, you can find mounts for Tablets and Smartphones. Each seat has a USB port and a power outlet. By 2020, a large part of "the fleet is to be equipped" with a new, fast satellite Wifi.

Less seat pitch in Business Class

The seat pitch in Business Class decreases at Alaska Airlines, up slightly from previously, 41 inch, or 104,1 centimeters to 40 inches or 101.6 centimeters. At the beginning of 2020, the whole of the Airbus should be converted to fleet with the new interior, as well as the Boeing 737-700 aircraft and three new Boeing Max 9, the Alaska Airlines receives from summer.

The fleet of the Airline consists of currently auss 162 Boeing 737 aircraft (737-900 ER, 737-900, 737-800, 737-700), 71 Airbus A320 (A319, A320, A321), 39 Bombardier Q400 aircraft and 26 Embraer E175.

In the above image gallery, you will get insight into the new Alaska-Airlines-cabin.

You impressed with the new cabin of Alaska Airlines?

Yes, I think it's good. Screens, no one needs anyway. No, the cabin of Virgin America liked me better.
