The first Airline has a Superjet with new Winglets

Severstal Airlines is the first airline that owns a Superjet 100 with Saberlets, such as Sukhoi are called the Winglets. The manufacturer promises a substantially lower fuel consumption.

As the Superjet 100 arrived in 2005, he had no Winglets. That changed in the meantime. Manufacturer Sukhoi has developed Saberlets, as he calls his wing extensions. Two years ago, the first copy of the regional jets took with this extension for the first flight.

The approval took longer than planned. But now the first customer has taken on a Superjet with Saberlets: The machine of Severstal Airlines bearing the registration RA-89135 and was on 24.
