The cabin of the KLM-future flyer

The Airline is working with the Technical University of Delft in a V-shaped plane. Now there are the first glimpses into the Interior of the KLM-future pilot.

It's the Flying V is called: at the beginning of June the Technical University of Delft and KLM presented their plans for the development of a futuristic aircraft in a V-shape. It has the rear a split fuselage and should be about 55 meters long and has a wingspan of 65 meters. The engines are mounted in the rear. In the meantime, the Technical University of Delft has revealed Details on the cabin, in the up to 314 passengers place to find. Accordingly, the Business Class is located in the front of the plane, where the hull is not divided. The seats are installed, each in pairs, in the wider section in 2-2-2-2-2-2-configuration – so, with twelve Seats in a row. Where the hull splits and becomes the wings, starts the Economy Class, each in a 3-4-3 configuration. Behind it is a cargo space follows on both sides.
