London City Airport evacuated after chemical incident

London City Airport was cleared because of a fire alarm. The authorities speak of a "chemical incident". For three hours, the operation was set.

It happened just at rush hour. On Friday afternoon (October 21) at 16:15 P.m. local time a loud alarm sounded at the London City Airport. Since then, chaos reigns. All flights from and to London City Airport have been set.

A spokesman of the airport confirmed that they had to evacuate the terminal after a fire was reported. On photos on Twitter, you can see how passengers on the tarmac and wait. Other images show travellers leaving the Terminal. At 18.35 local time still ran the evacuation in accordance with London City Airport.
