Ryanair has renamed the first 737 Max

The Irish low-cost airline wants to get its fleet of Boeing 737 Max without a crisis image. The first machine has now been spotted with the modified lettering.

Boeing needs a 737 Max after two crashes and a long Grounding in a new name, if you can lift it again? Brands-experts in this matter disagree. Determined, by contrast, seems to be Ryanair. The Irish low-cost airline on the front of a newly produced aircraft as in the past, "737 Max" paint, but "737-8200". The show pictures of Chris from the Twitter-channel Woodys Aeroimages.

In the case of the machine is the aircraft with the identifier of the EGG-HAY. The number 8200, which replaces the word Max, can be explained thus: It is a 737 Max 8 in the special version of the 200, mostly 737 Max 200 called. In this Ryanair commissioned variant of the plane up to 200 passengers, and eleven more than in a normal 737 Max 8. The Irish have ordered 135 copies of the 737 Max 200 – or now, apparently, 737-8200 – fixed and keep options for 75 more aircraft.

Not only Ryanair waives "Max"

Quite new is the Name 737-8200 is not. In technical documents of the European aviation authority, Easa and US Pending FAA and Boeing, the name was already. That Ryanair painted on their planes, it is nevertheless worth mentioning.

It is also not the first Time that Ryanair omits the name part Max. As marketing chief Kenny Jacobs called the flyer, in a press release on the topic of CO2 emissions recently "Boeing 737 Gamechanger". The aviation group IAG avoided he made the addition of Max, as in June a Declaration of intent for 200 of the aircraft. In the IAG communication was read from Boeing 737-8 and 737-10 to.

You can see in the above image gallery the 737-8200 lettering.
