Boeing 737 of Pegasus crashes down slope

A Boeing 737 of Pegasus Airlines left at the landing in Trabzon the slopes. You fell down a cliff to the sea.

Of the 162 passengers on Board flight PC8622 from Ankara, the journey had actually already almost behind. After about an hour and a half, they landed on Saturday evening (13. January) to around 23:30 o'clock at the airport of Trabzon. The Boeing 737-800 of Pegasus Airlines had driven coming from the West slope 11.

But what happens then, will not forget the passengers, four flight attendants and two pilots. During the braking of the Boeing 737 with the registration TC-CPF ran a bit wrong. Suddenly the machine swerved to the left. The cockpit crew was not able to correct the error fast enough. The Jet left the runway.

Large damage to the airplane

The Boeing 737 of Pegasus Airlines, fell down in consequence of a soft but steep slope to the sea. There they remained standing. All passengers had to leave the plane but unharmed, writes of Pegasus Airlines in a statement.

The approximately five-year-old Boeing 737 took in the accident, however, a lot of damage. One engine was torn off and landed in the sea, such as images of the Turkish and enjoyment of the Airport commander. Also the wings seem to have been affected.

Passengers were lucky
