Producer of the world's largest aircraft has a new owner
In April, the giant bird of STRATO launch system lifted off the first and so far only Time. Now the company has a new, previously unknown owner.
13. In April 2019, it was so far: The STRATO launch, a flyer with 118 meters wingspan, rose in the sky over the Mojave desert, California. It was the largest ever flown on an airplane and broke during 82 years of the legendary Spruce Goose-held record, the officially called the H-4 well-known pilot of the aircraft pioneer Howard Hughes. The STRATO-launch is in the future to heave launchers for small satellites in the stratosphere.
It was during the maiden flight. In October 2018, the Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen died funded the main funders of the Investment group Vuclan, the STRATO launch Systems. In January 2019, the company had the Plan to develop their own rockets and Rocket engines, and line 50 jobs. In June, it became known that Vulcan is looking for a buyer for the giant plane and all of the associated patents. Price: $ 400 Million.
